Hi! Today I tried out a new recipe. I played around with the ingredients a bit and my family really enjoyed it so I thought I'd share in case anyone else fancied giving it a go!

    Ingredients:
    • 2 chicken breasts
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 100g breadcrumbs
    • salt and pepper (for seasoning)
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 4 tablespoons honey
    • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
    • 1 tablespoon sriracha
    • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
    • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
    • spring onions (for garnish)
    • sesame seeds (for garnish)

    Prep:
    1. Preheat oven to 200 C
    2. Dice the chicken into equal bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper
    3. Coat the chicken pieces in beaten egg and then the breadcrumbs
    4. Bake for 20 minutes until cooked through and golden brown
    5. Mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sriracha, garlic and ginger
    6. Bring the sauce to a boil and then remove from heat
    7. Toss the chicken pieces in the sauce until thoroughly coated
    8. Serve immediately with sesame seeds and spring onions on top
I personally have mine on a bed of rice. The extra sauce really soaks into the rice and it tastes great.

You should! If it's a bit on the sweet side, try less honey
