I have recently accepted an offer for the MSc Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. It's a full-time taught MSc that begins in September and I have been planning to acquire a part-time position somewhere to help with my financial situation as I have a number of monthly outgoings. Out of the blue I have received a very promising and well paid opportunity for part-time work if it can be accommodated. I just want some advice from people currently studying an MSc or people who already have studied a full-time taught MSc to see if they feel working while studying is a possibility and also how many hours they feel could be worked (This is what my potential employer needs to know).
Thanks in advance

A full time MSc is full on. I think most unis will discourage you from working but I'd say up to 10 hours a week is possibly doable depending on how motivated you are and how well you manage your time. Why not consider a part time MSc?
