ABC Healthcare purchased a biological fluid filtration device from Joe Corporation. Two years after the sale of this device, Lisa has claimed that she has invented it and accordingly she has been granted a patent right in it. Lisa, therefore, has alleged that the use of this device is in breach of her patent. ABC Healthcare has come to you to know its rights, if any, against Joe Corporation/ Lisa.

In order to raise some capital, Harveen, a charity worker, has contracted to sell a particular piece of machinery to ABC Healthcare. Under the contract, Harveen has to disconnect this machine and to have it serviced before delivery to ABC Healthcare. The disconnection and service has been completed but, before ABC Healthcare has been notified, the machine has been destroyed in a fire. ABC Healthcare, therefore, has come to you to know if it can bring an action against Harveen for non- delivery.
Could someone please help me with these scenarios. are these business to business OR business to consumer sales???

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
