I have an 8.5 hour Saturday job at Tesco - all year round. The work's not bad for £47.50 a week.

I sell newspapers and magazines at summer festivals/events around my county. Very informal work, which is the way I like it...and you get to meet lots of intersting people.

I've got a job which I've had now for about two years, but shall be quitting within the next two weeks because they're a complete set of utter *******s (employers and customers). I would go out and get another job, but I'm quite good at saving money (light drinker, fondness for cheap clothes) and have spent relatively little since getting the job, so I have lots saved (approx £3000) meaning I dont have to get another job.

However, as soon as I quit I know I'll start regretting it!

I have far more important calls on my time than menial labour.

    - Although I wouldn't mind a job at Borders.
