    im currently doing the MIT course http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/biology/
    but often these are missing video lectures etc. anyone recommend good free course?

    maybe check out Khan Academy?

    they've got some nice videos up there.

    EDX, Harvard Extension, Yale also has one. You could always buy an advanced Biology book (though you'll have to buy one for each separate topics).

    Can't really say tbh. Try them all. Also if you type in the name of the topic followed by '.pdf' you can obtain pdf documents published by many unis and others.
