last summer I volunteered for 8 days with a charity helping children with learning difficulties. I was wondering what skills I could talk about learning from this experience on my medicine PS . Thanks
as wiggum said, just draw from your experience. what did you do? what did you find difficult and how did you overcome them? what did you learn about working with children with special needs? what did you learn from their carers/other staff?
if you honestly cant think of anything, it might be worth applying to more placements and try to engage more/be a bit more receptive.
I would say: - patience and resilience - ability to explain things in different ways and adapt your explanations to the level of understanding of each kid and also team work if you worked with other people too
