Difference between one 60 credit module and two 30 credit modules?

I am doing an open degree with the OU and have completed two 60 credit modules so far, one after the other. I managed ok time-wise with these but between work and family commitments I wouldn't be able to dedicate much more time than I already have been.

My question is, does it take much more time/energy doing two 30c modules simultaneously than doing a single 60c module? Bearing in mind I'm also moving up from level 1 to level 2...

For more info I'm doing science modules, I've completed S104 and SDK100, am about to start SK277 (human biology) and possibly another bio module

Thanks!

I didn't find much difference. The TMAs were annoyingly close together rather than spaced like a 60-pointer and if you have exams then two are worse than one. That's about it assuming the step up to L2 is OK.

You have the option to defer one should the need arise, or just half-arse one over the line if it comes to that.
