So. I currently work in social care (not a qualified social worker) with vulnerable adults, I write parenting assessments which aims to identify if the parents can provide good enough care for their child now and in the future, if it's positive then the parents return to the community with the child, if not, the child is removed and adopted.

Anyway, my passion is psychology, I love studying human behaviour, I love reading about it, I enjoy reading about how behaviour changes and adapts in different social situations, how body language is used etc. My overall interest is particular in how our behaviour has changed so much from Grok (paleolithic era, I call him Grok ) , how tribes in places like Papua New Guinea live, communicate and their culture as opposed to ours, and whether our culture could be the cause of various undesirable behaviours.

So I don't know what career I am looking for really, I keep toying with the idea of getting my Social Work degree because I know I can get a job in that field, but the above is really what sparks my interest. I know I don't want to be some kind of counsellor, or directly helping people if you know what I mean.

I think I am looking for something that doesn't exist!

You live as you do, and to love what you do, you must do what you love, or you cannot love to live.

Have you thought about becoming an anthropologist? You can visit indigenous communities. Since you're interested in behaviour, you can study that in various places perhaps.
