Hoping to go to queens in Belfast in September to do BIT. I need ABB. I feel like my exams went well this year and I have a chance. If I was to get ABC/BBB/BBC would I still have a chance of getting in? If anyone does this course in queens and has an idea of its popularity or just anyone who has applied for a course with the same grade boundaries and got in despite getting lower grades? I feel like I could get ABB just trying to reassure myself! Thanks.

Ah Queens, most of my friends ended up there, some doing Business Information Tech actually. From what I know of QUB however, they are quite strict, if you find yourself getting a grade lower (Say ABC, like myself when I applied to Queens) they will put you in a limbo of sorts, deciding whether or not they have the space for you on the course.

When I experienced this, I had to ring the university of the day of results to confirm whether I had received a place or not (I had no intention of going to Queens so I told them to retract any offer they may have made). Turns out they were not going to make me an offer in the first place, and that was for a course with grade ABB.

BIT is quite popular from my understanding, so you may find it difficult to get in if you receive a lower grade, but as you said you feel like you could achieve that. So best of luck come results day! I hear the course is excellent and I hope you enjoy QUB if you end up going
