    Hi all,

    Whilst I'll be studying the new S111 module in October, I currently have all the books for S104 and wondered which of the books would I be best reading in order to get a head start on the physics pathway? Some of them are pretty much common sense, but I don't want to miss anything out of the books that might be a bit more ambiguous in the title.

    I just hear S111 is going to be stripped back, and I don't want to complete it, then start MST124, and eventually S217 (formally S207) and relaise I'm behind in my Physicsa and general science.

    I completed S104, when all 8 books were tested. The following year the first 4 were tested and then you pick the last book and the corresponding questions to that book on the exam.

    My understanding is that its now trimmed down a lot because it was too much information. The Physics in S104 was bare minimum, S207 is a substantial bump and I dont think there is much in S104 that will help you. All the content you need is contained in S207, or any standard university Physics textbook. Its MST124 that you will need for S207.
