I am currently within clearing upon the UCAS website this is because I was unsuccessful and withdrew one of my applications (as I didn't like the uni when I visited) and now I am unsure if it would be easy to get into the course I would like to at university (Primary Education/related teaching courses) as it is so late. As well as if I will still be able to apply for accommodation so late. (Everything about this is worrying me)I'm thinking of possibly applying for an apprenticeship before going to uni if my chances of getting onto a teaching course are as slim as I feel they are. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Do you have your results already? It's still possible to find accommodation at this point, i think there are a good few education courses available and there appears to be more than 5 offering primary education so its worth a try.

Hey, try not to worry about things too much, in worse case scenario (you dont get on a degree) you can always apply next year, I know that's not what you probably want to hear but last year my first choice rejected me but this year I got in, or have you thought about applying for a higher national diploma? I don't know if you know about it but its a 2 year course done at college that is equivalent to the first two years of university and a higher national certificate is equivalent to the first year of uni and is a year, after you have done one of those you could do a full degree or enter the last year of a degree to "top-up" the qualification to a full bachelors degree, colleges are always taking applications or worse comes to worse they never usually turn people down trough clearing, I would broaden your options by applying for that at a local college aswel as going trough ucas clearing, I'm not sure if they do teaching but if they don't I would apply for something that would compliment a teaching degree like health and social care or something similar, if you want a teaching career. That's what I would probably do, another thing I would do is stop worrying, its only going to make things worse and after all 90% of the things we worry about never happen anyway.Do you want to actually do teaching? or are you applying for that because its so late, if you are I would say that's probably worse than not getting into anything at all, most of your life is going to be spent working and studying, so it would be wise to pick something that you will enjoy? and that you have always wanted to do, I'm sure you don't want to spend the rest of your life until your 65 waiting until Friday because you hate your job because that would be such a waste of alot of time. Your at the age were you can virtually do anything, pick wisely don't just do anything because you can't get into this or can't get into that, I hope everything works out for you, I honestly know what it feels like because I was in the same place last year lol I hope my advice helped.
