Good find. It's a nice idea, and I'd find it very useful, but my school didn't sign up for it (ridiculous, considering how it's free) so I can't use it.

the PIN is given in a piece of paper, with both candidate number and centre number way before the results. i have the PIN already, and i've registered already with it

If the results aren't available at like 12 AM, the service is pretty useless to a lot of people (not me though since our school makes us wait till ELEVEN AM where as others open the gates at like 8 AM).

And I'm sorry but they seem to be really proud of their "Grade-O-Meter" but what kind of idiot can't work out how much they missed a grade by? I mean seriously, if you get 220/300 in your AS and the results slip CLEARLY says at the back "240/300 = A", it does not take even a secondary school mathematician to work out that you missed it by 20 marks. God.

No.. you don't even need to work it out - they tell you the overall grade...

I think the only good about it is that you could check your results when you're on holiday, i.e. me.

Absolutely...

What would have been useful is having a system which does this using raw marks. That might be remotely useful...

This system is only useful for people who have all their exams with edexcel, no friends willing to pick up their results (since most schools release the results earlier than this system) and are on holiday. All 3 conditions need to met for you to find edexcel resuts plus useful.

the system would most prob crash on the first day
what day do AS results come out?

same day - 16th august

Has anyone got their resultsplus username and password yet? I think they are meant to be given in early July.

i already regd up ages ago, i hear that it opens at 8am on the day, my college opens at 9ish, so i know what im checking ...and how nicely all my exams are under edexcel helps

Edit: notneck no, not yet.

Hm, I don't think my school is registered. Good idea though, I guess.

Do we get to see which questions we did wrong??? Or is this just for teaching staff?

According to the PPT on the PesultsPlus website, this question analysis is only for staff on GCSE Maths & Science with Edexcel. No others.

With this ResultsPlus does it also show you what grades people in your class/group got?
Reply 16

That would be cool for those who got A's, not for those who failed.... :p:

You should receive the pin none the less, it's not a college thing, but a centre thing, so ring up your centere's examining officer.
