I will appreciate any opinions on the following hypothesis for my extended project qualification.....What does BREXIT mean for the UK's economic future and what past events could help us prevent the worse to come?.....Does this make sense and seem like an appropriate thing to write a very long essay about?

Maybe? The thing with Britain leaving the EU is No one knows what will happen. Sure there are predictions but you can find predictions for a lot of different scenarios. If you were to do an EPQ on this, how could the source be reliable and how could the project be fully researched if the event is happening in the future and all you have is predictions. Secondly The question is a little long. The second half could be a project in of itself. I don't know if you could write and do a project on predictions and past events- because in my mind there aren't any past events. I don't know I don't study Economics. Maybe you could do it on Greece and the bankruptcy there? Or generally the Economic state/stability of the EU?
