How he loved being the major to so many immigrant communities,
How he took great delight in London being the 6th Biggest French City in the world. He made all these speeches to Conservative Party conferences to thunderous applause.

And now its all in ruins
http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2013/10...ext-and-audio/

How come its come to this,

Its just really really sad.

There must be some way we could have another referendum, election anything. There must be a way out of this never ending nightmare.

He made a move to further his political career and was outmanoeuvred by another career politician.

No sympathy for him from me.

Not even when we have a trade deal with the worlds two largest trading blocks?

I fail to be surprised at how utterly consumed in mania, these hard core remainers are. I forgive many of them they are only young. Does make me smile though "There must be some way we could have another referendum, election anything." Please let me lose ANOTHER election, referendum :bawling:

For me it's the fact that there are still some out there that don't understand the only way this nightmare, as they put it, can be ended is by us leaving the EU.

I think we are going to see huge strides forward in 2021, there will undoubtedly be a rejoin party form but I think in the main, the healing will be complete at the end of 2021, the sky wont of fell in, the north of emglamd wont starved to death or died of chlorine poisoning and Barnier's war wont have started.

The rejoin party will slowly become a green party, if not the green party itself. I can't see the ililiberals undemocratic party continuing to back that dead horse. And really not a hell of a lot will change

He's actually done quite a lot. Have a look here

I think it is easy to forget that the majority of what politicians do is unseen. It is when they do little or nothing that you start to notice (see most of Africa)

It's no wonder .... the "nightmare" has already been around, at least in BJ's words

...the question we’ve got to ask ourselves is are young Londoners always able and willing to take up the opportunities of the opportunity city that we’re trying to create?

[...] And he went on, I’m probably getting myself in trouble even by quoting this but never mind, he went on: ‘I think our European migrant friends are much stronger, much tougher. If we didn’t have any, all of our restaurants would close tomorrow. There wouldn’t be any Brits to replace them.’

What is the greatest threat we face, come on folks, pay attention. A Labour government...
We don’t want to go back to the high tax, high spend approach....

The choice at the next election is very simple – it’s between the fool’s gold of Labour gimmicks which we all understand, we’ve all fought before and a government that is willing to take tough and sensible decisions, to cut unnecessary spending:..."
