I'm running for head girl at my school and I already have some ideas, e.g. how we can improve our library, making sure students know more about how they can improve their UCAS applications, more academic competitions, deepening interest in STEM subjects, etc.
I didn't get the opportunity to ask people at my school how they would have changed things and I'm currently writing my manifesto-thing and wanted more ideas. Can anyone help?
Also, I'm trying to find more events for my school to compete in and so far I've only found the UKMT, Maths Olympiad and Physics Olympiad. Can anyone name others?

Much better student council system. At the moment they have literally no say and are just there for show. Though the changes I'd want to implement would be "radical" and would change the way the whole school works. Also a better club system for 6th form.
If you'd like me to expand, PM me.

More funding for large scale projects (such as astrology, space programs, design competitions, international student exchanges)
