No need to have chav-friends who support this someone you reported anyway. And yes, go to a different college.
Damn, I can't believe how many issues there are. My college is like heaven compared to what read is apparently happening everywhere else.

I agree - sometimes it's best to start a new life elsewhere.
loose the friends who r using u they aint worth the trouble. try and find other people who are maybe in the same situation as u and just try and tlk to people in class and stuff and find new friends. i no its hard when your confidence is low but maybe buy some new clothes and have your hair done that always helps my confidence when im feeling low. and yeah if all else fails and your really hating it there take hermaphrodite's advice but remember its only one more year of the rest of your life.

I cannot stand so-called 'friends' who are more 'users' than people who care for you. However, there are an array of things to be considered:
1. Moving to another college - is there one? How can you get there? Will it offer the same subjects with the same exam boards that you can carry forward?
2. It's only one more year of your life. I have shut myself off a little, during this last year especially, really concentrating on getting some good grades. Work, as daft as it may seem, will really take your mind off things.
3. To increaase your confidence, throw yourself in the deep end, i.e. join a club or society or something; or why not even get a part-time Saturday job? I lost some confidence once; I like to think that employment has given me some back.
4. People should be supporting you - you did the right thing getting the police involved; anyone calling you a 'grass' ought to be shot!

Remember, you have no reason to have low confidence. We are all (within reason, at least) dignified people. If you keep telling yourself this, it can really make life a more attractive prospect... Really!

how crappy for you! (i realise that probably sounds a bit flippant but i was being genuine and sincere!)

make friends elsewhere. before your confidence disintegrates entirely, join up something outside of school, as jossyboy said - throw yourself into it. something animal related perhaps, if that's what you're interested in?

i'm quite shocked that the bunch of no-good imbeciles have turned on YOU rather than the knife wielding fool...:s-smilie:

ppffftt

just cut them out of your head. find lovely new friends. and don't let them crush your confidence missy/mister! xx

Is this really the situation in England nowadays? I am shocked! Scandinavia suddenly seems a lot more peaceful.

How serious is your problem with "chavs"?

You're obviously not that bothered about it if you're "laughing out loud."

I did so because it sounds a bit silly and embaresing asking strangers for ideas on what to do. ok:rolleyes:

Yes chavs are the scourge of Britain. :frown: They don't wash, they misbehave, are loud, not very literate (if at all) and they're mulitplying out of control. :frown: I get first hand experience of them evertime I go on a bus (if not where I live). :frown:

The only advise I have is to stay on the course (why miss out on a course you like because of that scum) and see if there are any clubs at college and the local gym if there is one.

I agree the lol wasnt suiting the mood of the thread, but I think it was a way to make it seem less dramatic and to seem more detached.
