Im just working out my budgeting, based on my rent and student fiance etc. Im wondering how much people spend on average weekly. I should have £70 a week, is that enough? Thankyou in advance. Any help would be awesome.

Depends on how much you want to go out and how much of a snob you want to be with food! I went out loads in my first year and then splurged on food in second and third years instead of alcohol. Going out can be dirt cheap in Lincoln, you don't need taxis or anything. £70 will be very doable. I think I tried to stick to £80 and it was fine even with treating myself far too often.

That's a perfect amount. You'll only need to spend £30 on food a week/maybe even less depending on what you like to eat! I could live on £15 if I wanted to!!

Also instead of buying drinks on a night out, its so much cheaper to pre-drink at home or at a friends as then you don't need to buy drinks when you are out! If you are drinking when you are out, Walkabout is amazing (They do half price on food and drink after 7pm) and so is Slug and Lettuce as they have lots of deals on cocktails!
