So just to clarify, you don't know if they use it, or they definitely don't use it.

Only 226 applicants? From 40 applicants per place to 5.65?? I guess everyone avoided applying thinking there's too much competition..!!

It also says applicants per offer was 4. And there were 60 offers...so roughly 240 applicants

before the edit, the applicant to offer read 20 in neos post, and i thought 1200 applicants sounded more in line with what i expected. well, lets wait for the source and we can find out :P

Yeh it's hard to believe only 226 would apply to a medicine course at southampton

So... I misstyped 1226 as 226. Someone pmed me saying that my applicants per offer was wrong (using the 226 as the correct number) and so I updated it in a moment of stupidity from 20 to 4 applicants per offer instead of checking the other numbers!

Just to clarify:

20 applicants per offer.
1226 applicants this year.

Hi,

Where did you get this information?

I work at the open days and this was the data we were given by admissions.
Also - there were some typos and confusion. It's now all correct.
Still pretty good numbers considering competition has been halved from 40 applications/per place to 20

2900 JESUS CHRIST

What are the chances of it rising to 750 average?

Not a clue. Depends entirely on who applies and how the UKCAT goes. No odds on anything unfortunately, not been doing it like this long enough and it varies so much.

Yeah bm4 applicants smash the UKCAT
