Most employers pay their employees on a friday. Normally work done during the week will get paid on a particular day the next week, usually a friday but not always.
The 2nd July was last saturday, your cutoff for working hours that week would have been sunday night. All paid hours owed for that week would go through today. Any work you have done, or will do this week will be paid to you next friday (unless they **** up your pay which does happen)
