    Hi,
I'm currently doing a crest project on laminitis in horses. I wanted to do about the different theories on how hyperinsulinaemia and insulin resistance results in laminitis however, the websites I have found are mainly papers which I can't view without a university. If anyone has any websites I can use that explain different theories or can share any knowledge on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sci-Hub should give you free access to tens of millions of journals and research papers.

    Good luck!

    These should get you started:

    http://www.merckvetmanual.com/mvm/me..._syndrome.html

    http://www.talkaboutlaminitis.co.uk/ems

    http://liphookequinehospital.co.uk/w...c-syndrome.pdf

    http://liphookequinehospital.co.uk/w...icSyndrome.pdf

Check the marking scheme, it is likely that you are going to need to properly reference your work and possibly some of the original papers. If you need access to some of the journal databases contact your school for guidance.
