    Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has completed a civil engineering apprenticeship and whether or not they went to uni after? And whether or not it was easy or hard to get into uni?

I was also curious whether or not it's the best option... And has anyone completed an apprenticeship at either WSP or Mott MacDonald?

Hello again Jack, just seen this.

You can go to uni after but your work would/Could support you through a degree while you work, I wouldn't leave the work place to go to uni they will only look at the grades you've got from your level 3 qualification they wont be interested in the experience you've got where as business' which offer degree apprenticeships would (if you don't get one with WSP/Motts). the whole point of an apprenticeship is you learn and work and then the work place supports you through your career.

Its possible but I wouldn't think its your best option.

    Cheers

    Hello again,

Thanks, I will probably go through something like that and hopefully complete a degree while in the work place which means I'll come out with a degree while having several years of experience meaning I'll be ahead of the game 😄

    Cheers Jack
