Sorry for the title, not meant to be bait but I just couldn't resist making the pun, it seems.

Seriously, though, should I bring my Yu-Go-Oh! deck to University or is that unlikely to be a thing there?

It's definitely unlikely that you will meet other people who have, just by coincidence, brought their decks with them.

Honestly, go for it, people at uni are into some really niche stuff, chances are you'll find a person or a group of people to play with.

I thought you meant dj deck considering the amount of aspiring djs at uni. I have no advice to give.

Bring it. You can always teach your flatmates, somehow turn it into a drinking game and I'm sure they'll be interested lol.

There is also likely to be a Japanese/anime/fantasy etc. society who might probably have a few players.

Or start your own society I'm sure you can find enough players or people who want to learn.

Good idea, but I doubt it'd work for me. My University's only got around 1500 students so it might be a bit difficult to find people.

Wasn't sure whether you meant a DJ set-up or a skateboard... turns out I was wrong on both accounts

May as well take it, that way you won't regret not taking it.

Well, I haven't actually started it yet but I'll just say it's a small University in London which begins with 'R'.

I am sure you will find someone. I'm an MTG player myself and I've found a good few people.

(Then again MTG IS a far superior game, so who knows. )

My university had a card game society; it was mostly MTG and Munchkin, but there were a few Yu Gi Oh! players. No harm in taking the decks and finding out.
