I haven't received my AS grades but I am sure that I want to do Finance and Accounting at university. In choosing this, I feel like I should've done Economics at A-level.
Instead I was pressured into doing Chemistry, Biology, Maths and French.
If I was to retake, I would do Maths, Economics, Psychology and French.
Is this wise and what would you do?

You don't need economics at A-level to do accounting or finance, just maths. No need to re-sit Your current A-levels are perfectly adequate, if you were to change anything, I would suggest further maths, but like I said, you're A-leves are perfectly fine.

Thanks for replying. I get that I don't need economics but I'm not happy with chemistry and biology anyways and I highly regret picking those 2 subjects.. Would you suggest sticking it out another year? Loads of people say that re-sitting is a bad idea

I know someone who did chem, biology and IT and he does accounting at Newcastle, so as long as you get the grades you should be fine

Taking a levels over a 3 year period is generally not looked upon well, but if its necessary for what you want to study then you should do it.

I think it would be pointless. Re-doing a year would be a waste of time. Even though you may be unhappy with the subjects, as long as you get the grades, it does't matter how you feel about them.
