    Hello!

Don't know if I'm posting in the right section or not but here goes...

I have recently moved from student halls into a property where I am the sole occupant.

I have contacted my local council, and they have accepted my status as a full time student, but have only reduced my council tax, they are still expecting me to pay £76pcm!

So basically my question is this - as a full time student who is the sole occupier of a property, do I pay council tax at a reduced rate or am I completely exempt?

    Thank you!

Just ring them and ask them on what basis they are charging you, becayse as a full time student you are exempt.
