My weight has been 120(+/- 2)lbs for three years, but in the past 3 weeks I have lost 8 lbs without trying. Is this normal or could it be a symptom of something? Should I see my GP?? I'm 18 if that makes any difference.

If you're not trying to lose weight and doing what you usually would do/eat then you probably should see your GP.

Depends, are you eating and doing what you usually do or have you started going out more or changed something?

Also are there any other symptoms? It might just be natural

It takes no time at all for them to get some blood tests ordered and take it from there. It'll do you good having some peace of mind and in the unlikely event anything is seriously amiss you and your doctor will be glad to have caught it now

Maybe you could check your size / weight daily for a while, and compare it to your monthly cycle.
I know I get bigger when I'm on my period, and are smaller after.

Just go! We have a wonderful free NHS, use it! It's easy to put this stuff off and it's a good habit to get out of early
