I'll be starting the UG engineering combined studies course in September at Heriot Watt. For travel arrangements purposes (coming from the US) I need to know if I will have exams during the exam period in December. Can anyone tell me if 1st year students have exams already before the holiday break?

    Thanks.

    Hi Olivoun,

Yes there are two exam diets per year, one in Early to mid December and one in May. You will have exams in both of these diets. No one will have an exam after the 16th of December.

The semester dates are here: https://www.hw.ac.uk/student-life/ho...c-calendar.htm

    Hope this has helped,
    Cheers,
    Keir
