I think I am right in saying that it is men who are usually ready before women. If men will not have the mentality to wait until their partner is ready, shame on them!

But men are biologically pre-programmed to want to have sex asap. It's not our fault! Saying that, if the other person wasn't ready then i would wait, waited over a year before, i could do it again (i hope)
Whenever both people are comfortable with it, and both want to..

Dude...not in the adult world. Things can be different when both partners are relatively young, i.e. 17, 18, 19. Later on in life there is much less 'waiting' actually involved and people are 'ready' much sooner.

Every couple is different. Some feel comfortable doing it after a week, others after a month or two. Me and my man waited 6 months before having sex. We wanted it to be special and we wanted to show that we were serious about each other. It made the whole thing more special for me because i knew he must be serious to have decided to wait that long  Theres no right or wrong time to have sex, it depends on what both people feel xx

I dunno how long I'd wait, maybe a month or two. But I'd never be pressured into it.

Oh, and I've been told that womens' sex drives are actually higher than mens', it's just that women can "oppress" theirs.

I would wait a 'reasonable' amount of time. I think the likes of a year is OK when you are 16 but at uni I have to admit I would be beginning to get a little pissed off after a month or two, especially if you really like them, why wait?

Either you're getting married to Mikemaria, or thats going to be one hell of a threesome-based wedding night.

Fine, as a broad generalisation, that can be agreed. I'm not saying there's a fine line between the times of 'being ready'; what I am saying, though, is that any girl who DOES want to wait until she is ready should always have that choice.

Read incredibly boring....
Ideally it should be whenever you feel ready for it, whether that be 3 weeks or 2 years.

Going for a general average though 2-3 months when speaking about loosing your virginity, after that about a month.

Until your wedding night? Is that why you're a member of the boredom society?

What is wrong with waiting until your wedding night? Consider a Catholic: not all Catholics are boring! They would wait until their wedding night, frisky little buggers.
