Neighbour shouted to me that she'd call Police and send them round... Watch

    Hi all,

So before anyone accuses me of having done something horrific or such (as far as to my knowledge) I'm not guilty of anything. What i'm about to explain is complex.

I'll start by explaining the shouting and then backtrack to my worries...

I was about to go to the shop to buy some things, and as I stepped outside and walked past the opened window of one of my neighbours, I heard a commotion...a female voice echoing out: "...Yeah...you...I'll be calling the Police, sending them round" Or some such thing.

I was obviously a bit taken aback, as firstly, I thought maybe they are talking to somebody in the room, because I couldn't think of a single plausible reason for ringing the cops on me. I couldn't see in, as the window was high up and there was glare on it, so it was impossible to see whether they were talking to me.

I was a bit shaken up, as the prospect of been accused of some crime or having the rozzers around the house scares me.

Then, it occurred to me as I was thinking about why a neighbour would shout at me in such an outraged tone-- earlier that day (warning: explicit), I had been master-bating in my bedroom. Sounds odd me mentioning okay, but hear me out.

The bedroom is high up, and backs out to a ginnel and loads of other houses (as its terraced housing). I often hear my neighbours outside putting trash out so usually I'd know if they are there. We have blinds on our windows and ordinarily they are down.

This time they weren't. The weren't all the way shut. So I can only come to imagine that the only plausible reason for that episode was that I was masterbating and someone saw me and assumed it was a deliberate lewd act.

It would of been completely coincidental and circumstantial. Thing is, the couple next door have two younger teenage girls, and so if they saw it, it could quite inexplicably be explained as lewd acts and as a young man in his mid-twenties, I could be accused of sexual offences and convicted easily.

obviously I've no idea if I was seen, I know it's unlikely, as I've had the blinds up ajar before, and nobody saw. Whats the odds of them been there at that precise time looking into my window?

    What do you all think?

Is it likely i was seen or am I over-reacting.

the worst that could happen would be the police having a word with you about keeping the blinds shut, assuming that you have not been in trouble before.*
it may be that you overheard some totally unrelated conversation from your charming neighbor.
most likely outcome = no police*

I have been in trouble before many many years ago- we're talking nearly ten years ago. I got a Youth Caution/Reprimand for Burglary with intent to steal, and told that if I got into trouble again the Police would undoubtedly take the decision to prosecute me.

I don't think anything will come of it, and it is likely I overheard some domestic going on.

Aslong as you dont live in America you will be okay.
No I live in the UK. Why would it matter where I lived? Provided I haven't actually had any ill intentions. These things happen, people sometimes catch us in awkward situations completely unintended.

Not a crime to be masturbating in your house even with no blinds. Prosecution would have to prove that you were trying to show yourself off to other people, such as the kids for it to be a crime. That would be difficult even if you were!

    You should be fine.

Well then that woman is just pathetic and attention-seeking. Don't worry about it. Explain as best as you can if the police do come round and set that b**ch of a neighbor straight, okay? And there's nowt wrong with masturbating. Maybe try to make it more discreet next time, though.

Tell her you're going to call the police and say there's a voyeur who has been watching you jack off in your own house.

If your bedroom is upstairs then how would anyone have seen unless you were literally standing in front of your window?

Tell her to send the cops around and start masturbating in front of the cops. When they ask what you're doing look them in the eye and say 'I was expecting you' in a creepy voice.
