Hello TSR, asking current/former uni students.

What do you recommend for a first year student? Halls or should I search for other accommodation? I'm an international if that makes any difference.

    Thanks.

I'm not there yet but imo halls are the best option for the first year.

Don't have to worry about any utilities, and you're in close proximity to others so you can actively socialise - an opportunity I wouldn't pass up tbh :cute:

Depends largely on your area, budget and priorities.

I was kind of moving in that direction but was thinking I could save money and it wouldn't really make a difference from halls. Thanks for the input though :yy:

Area is around tooting, why would budget and priorities matter? If my priority is study would you say halls?

Halls can give you a variety of choice - whether you want to study or socialise. Student accommodation provides both - you can choose to live in a small flat with people who are similar to you, such as hobbies and interest. It also helps that all your bills are included in the price! takes a load of your mind
