    Hi,

I'm thinking about postgraduate study and whether or not I'd be elibible for the new postgraduate loan being offered from September 2016. I would either be doing a MBA or MSc. I already have a MMathStat degree - this is a 4 year degree with integrated masters study. This degree had undergraduate fees and loans even for the 4th year.

So would I be eligible for a postgraduate loan? I can't see anything that clarifies in the guidance - just that if you are studying an integrated degree that you are not eligible for the postgraduate loan and should apply for undergraduate support - does that mean it's classed as being at a lower level?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Any thoughts on this? I saw a couple of threads in the postgraduate loan forum (closed) that had contradictory responses. The gov.uk guidance on this really isn't very good. Thanks

    Hi Chris821

Students who already hold a qualification which is equivalent to or higher in level than a Masters, this includes an integrated Masters, will not be eligible for a postgraduate loan.

    Thanks.
