I applied for the sales support team at Next and had a phone interview about two weeks ago but didn't hear anything back, so I rang them back just now for an update (bear in mind the closing date hasn't arrived yet). I asked had applicants been chosen and the woman said yes, and that everyone received an email saying they were successful/unsuccessful. I've not got an email either way, and just to make sure I scoured my inbox AND my junk folder. The last email I had about the Sales Support team was saying that my application had been received. So I told her I had not received any sort of email, and she simply kept saying "The applicants have already been chosen and emails have been sent out" and going on about how positions will come up during the year, but she wouldn't tell me why I didn't get an email or even acknowledge that I hadn't got one! I was left feeling annoyed and confused because I wanted some closure, but I'm left feeling even less sure than I was before?
