Don't take too much stuff - you just won't need it. Pen/paper, maybe a folder to put stuff in. You can sort out your ring binders etc once you know what's happening in your subjects.

Pencil Case and refil pad.

Reply 3

yeah just pens and some paper and maybe a diary

Reply 4

you have forgotten something important YOURSELF  hehe oh well i wouldnt take much else apart from pen

Reply 5

Why not worry about this in 6 weeks' time :p:

Reply 6

You have textbooks already?? I'd just take your pencil case, a pad of paper and a planner if your school/college doesn't provide them. The first day will probably just be introductory stuff like timetables anyway.

Reply 7

Pencil case & paper, then find out exactly what you need on the first day then you know what to bring on the second day

Two months remaining. Relax !

After results day we have another meeting with the college, and we go show them our official grades, and finalise which subjects we are taking. So I assume they should give us some indication on what to bring. If not, Pencil Case, notepad, and a bag to accomodate my pencil case and notepad lol.

You might want to bring along:

- Yourself
- A bag
- A pencil case
- Some paper
- Lunch or some money for lunch
- Some cigarettes and a lighter if you smoke
- A hip flask might be a good idea too

Just make sure you find and bring your common sense! Nah sorry for that, just bring things like pencil pen ruler bag, college cards and paper etc!

Reply 11

All you will need is some A4 paper, pencil case and a folder.

Reply 12

Pen, A4 Pad, cheap but good quality from ASDA (if i don't recommend them they will find and shoot me), and most importantly a diary.

And don't forget to be organised! most important thing for school IMO

Already stocked up on pens pencil case, folders, paper from asda not to nention blanc CDs and a bag. I Love ASDA stuff. Its "cheap but quality"

Unless you're in an artsy subject I'd say a pencil case would be a waste of time. I get away with a pen in my pocket and a pencil thrown in the bottom of my bag, its just a matter of preference of course.
But like people said, lined A4 paper is a nescessity, I go through at least 2 200 sheet pads per term.

Perhaps, but I would recommend carrying a pencil case - this might not create a very good impression on the first day, particularly if it is a new school/college. Its always better to have too much than not enough, although I agree in principle with your comments. Be like a Scout - Be Prepared! (Is that the right motto - I never know!)

Good luck
