Tattoo on my wrist; bad idea, or not?

I've been toying with the idea of a wrist tattoo.

Might go for it today. Not keen on the blurring, but frankly I don't care what I look like in 30 years.

get a non permanent one- i don't see the point of pemanent ones. Your opinion on them may change in 20/30 years time and you'll kick yourself then for being stupid enough for getting a permanent one.

TEMPORARY TATOO IS THE ANSWER!

Are you kicking yourself for being stupid enough to think that non-permanent ones actually exist?

If you put thought and heart into a tattoo there's less chance of you disliking it years later as opposed to fashion tattoos etc. Also who cares what it looks like when you're old and wrinkley because you're supposed to look pretty unattractive at that age anyway!

- As a thought for now (until you're 18) could you not get a charm bracelet and find a charm or have one inscribed with the same meaning (a nice one, rather than a tacky argos one - an heirloom sort of piece).

Best suggestion in the whole thread.

That's my logic on it...My tattoos are on my hips and back...If I'm showing them off when I'm 70 I deserve to look horrible  besides, I don't have to look at them...

Or in 20 years time you'll kick yourself for thinking that temporary tattoos actually exist.

There IS a new type of ink being developed & talked about but as far as I know it has yet to be released and there's a lot of doubt and speculation about it. I think it's called Freedom Ink, I'm sure you can read up on it if you Google it. But like I said, it's not exactly the most reputable of ideas. Most people think it's bull**** or will, at least, not work half as well as it should.

Haha I'm going to get a small tattoo on my wrist of a large and small heart interlinked later in the week but my Mum has been like what about when you want to get a professsional job in the city etc. As far as i'm concerned if someone isn't gonna give me a job because of a tiny tattoo then what kind of people would they be like to work with! Anyway it's easy enough to just wear a watch/bracelet/long sleeves lol!
