    I am currently enrolled in MEng Chem ENg (finished 2nd year) but have lost a lot of interest in the subject and gained interest in environmental sustainability/renewables. Would it be a bad move to only complete BEng Chem Eng and then do a separate masters in a course I would enjoy more.

    How hard is it to get into a masters course?

    Not a bad idea at all if that's where your interests lie. I don't think it's very difficult to get into masters courses if you have a 2:1, as most graduate with a BEng or MEng and go straight into work.
