A month ago I was walking around sixth form with people from my class and this guy came up to us that they knew but I didn't and was talking to him. Almost the whole time he spoke to them he was smiling at me but I don't know if he was being nice as I think he said hello to me but I just smiled as I'm so shy.

Then last week he walked past me and smiled but then looked down and went to his friends near where I was sitting. Then I looked over in his direction to see people walk past and I saw him give me the side eye.

    What does this mean?

He might like you, he might be being polite, he might be doing out of habit who knows...

Aw man this makes me miss being 17! Maybe he fancies you, maybe he is just being friendly. Be friendly back and see what happens.*

I actually am 17, going to enjoy the simplicity of this situation before it all goes weird and awkward
