Okay well I got referred to the hospital for braces a few months ago and they referred me back to the dentist before I could get braces.

I phoned up today to check what was happening and was told that I had an appointment in April (I didn't receive a letter to tell me of those) so now I've rebooked an appointment for Monday and what I'm wondering is now I'm 20 since June will I have to pay?

So angry as I didn't receive a letter so it's not my fault

Pretty sure you would have had to pay for them either way, the cut off will be 16 or 18 years of age. Unless in exceptional circumstances they are medically required rather than just for the appearance of your teeth/smile. That may have changed since I had mine though. Good luck!

I was told before I went to the hospital that I wouldn't have had to pay as treatment had started
