So I'm applying as a Migrant worker, I have been working in this small business for about 6 months. Student finance have asked for my employment contract and payslips for the last 3 months. My employer has given me these. But my employer has not registered me in HM revenue, do I have to be registered there to be eligible for my application? Do I have to be registered in HM revenue as an employee by the employer or is it ok?

    Thanks

    Hi Reda2

Please send the evidence requested if you wish to apply as a migrant worker. If they are providing payslips, depending on your income you may be paying tax which would show on these.

    Thanks

Thank you for you reply. No I'm not paying tax or national insurance. I'm paid cash, and I work part-time. Do you want me to send you the Employment contract and the payslips?

I don't have to pay tax or national insurance because of my income; this is shown in the payslips that they gave me. I'm not registered in the company, do I need to be?
