I was doing a biomedical science degree but I have failed my second year again. I got kicked out from my uni and now I don't know what to do. I want to still pursue a degree in Microbiology, as that module was the only one that I enjoyed during my second year.I just wanted to know whether any universities would accept me through clearing considering my situation. I am guessing now I won't be able to get any loans through the SLC. It would be also nice if anybody had similar experience and how did you deal with it.Thanks

If you've left uni I don't think you can transfer. Your best bet is to contact unis and see which ones will let you apply and go straight into second year. You may even have to start over. Student finance will best be able to advise about finance but my understanding is that you get 4 years of finance. I could be wrong though. You may want to think about why you're failing and whether uni or this degree is for you.

Thanks a lot for replying. I know why I am failing (depression, social anxiety and stress and pressure from parents to get a degree). I also thought about quitting uni life but I also really want to get a degree as well. As a result I have decided to change my course and go to a different uni to get a fresh start. Just gonna give it one more try and then if I still don't manage to pass then I will give it up for real. Once again thanks.^_^
