Hello! I currently hold an unconditional offer at the university of keele starting September 2016.
I was wondering if any current students studying law could tell me/ give me a rough idea of when lectures and seminars are? How roughly how long they are per day and is there days when we aren't needed in at all?

    Thankyou!

Hey I was an unconditional too haha, I'm going into my second year and basically we had lectures for 2 hours at a time 3 times a week and then 3 one or two hour seminars. We have 3 law modules so 2 hours worth of lectures and one or two hours worth of seminars every week, not including any electives. My lectures landed on mondays, tuesdays and thursdays I think and seminars can be any time. Usually there aren't any lectures on Wednesday afternoons as that is when most sport takes place however, if you want to study a language as your elective this will take place on a Wednesday. If your seminars aren't convenient for you, you can switch them but they all tend to be very evenly spaced out. During week 6 of each semester there is a reading week where you will be expected to complete a non-compulsory formative assessment for each module. The first lectures are in freshers week, although law always seems to finish earlier than the other courses, and we have less contact hours than most other courses, hope this helps
