It's the summer holidays. Just finished my GCSEs and I'm just sitting at home doing nothing when I know that I should be spending my time wisely by doing something that I can put on to my CV.

Have you got any ideas on what I can do this summer that will look good on my CV?

I had in mind to do some volunteering but the one place that I did apply for only accepts over 18 year olds..

Also I've been looking at part time work placements but that seems to be very hard to get as vacancies seems to be disappearing everywhere.

Other things that I've been really thinking about was apply for a course to do some lifeguard training but hat is way out of my budget because it's almost £200 to apply. It would be nice if someone could suggest courses like this where I can achieve awards to put onto my CV. Please suggest something that I can do within this summer not like the Duke of Edinburgh award.

    Thanks
