Applying for jobs

I m a second-year undergraduate. I want to apply for jobs but most companies requirements are 2:1 or higher, but I haven't completed my third year, does that mean I need to wait until I finish my third year and take a gap year? But I don't want to take a blank year.

Presumably you're looking for stuff for after you graduate? In that case start applying after you've started your final year and can provide a ref which says what you're on track for and maybe some module marks.
