I have one M&S suit which I hate and a few white shirts.
I'm going up to London to get measured for a bespoke suit early September so I'll have to make do with my current suit for a while and I will probably just buy a whole load of shirts from T.M. Lewin and Hawes and Curtis.

I have 2 jackets, 2 skirts and 2 shirts. I still need a couple more shirts, some jumpers and some shoes.

I searched through the WHOLE DAMN METRO CENTRE and I actually couldn't find a whole suit anywhere, except a couple which I saw in House Of Fraser, only it was like £200 for a jacket, £150 for a skirt. I mean ffs.

I look like a first class penis in my Sixth Form clothing!

I will just pretend to cry! We have have to wear our school uniform for all seven years, and I'm going into upper sixth in September. However the advantage is that we don't have to wake up in the morning and go into a frenzy about what we intend to wear, on the con side we have no way of expressing individuality. Plus I have no money at the money so would be unable to get any new clothes anyways!:s-smilie:

A couple of pairs of jeans, a few t-shirts in different colours and styles, 3-4 pairs of dolly shoes, and lots of accesories

We don't have a uniform - but, I have already spent £500 on new clothes for college:redface:

I start in September and at the moment I have:

One pair of black jeans I MIGHT be able to pass off with.

A white smartish top.

A black, short-sleeved cardi.

A white crinkle top to go under cardi.

My new black shoes for work that crippled my feet today and have left me in agony.

And that's it! We have to wear black and white you see. I will go shopping in due course.

None, none & none ;D

I'm so glad I didn't go to a sixth form with a uniform/suit requirement.

...this is so unhelpful.

:ditto: :p:

Well I dont have uniform but we have guidelines (well rules)

like

no logos, hoodies, denim, trainers, short skirts etc. boys have to wear smart things ... cant be asked to expain... i hope you can feel my pain :frown: . Lol

Woaaah, suits. I wear the same thing everyday. Jeans, t shirt and trainers (not the same ones mind.!) So glad I don't have to wear a suit...I think it's compensation for the fact I had to wear a green kilt as my school uniform!

I had no idea that some sixthforms actually had to have a uniform suit replacement? I just thought everyone just wore their own clothes.
Makes me glad that I go to a crappy gangbangin' suburbian community sixth form
(or not really, lol)

In my schools 6th form we have to wear smart suits and shirts/blouses. I kinda left buying things a little late as I was aprihensive about my results.
so at this point I own:
A M&S Suit with trouses that are to long and need shortenting.

5 blouses/shirts (1 pink stripy, 1 black stripy, 1 brown stripy, 1 white stripy and one vest style thing that looks layered but isnt.)

And a blazer from principles that I love but wont match anything but jeans (which we're not allowed :frown: ) it was on sale so the shop didnt have the matching trousers or skirt.

Shoes wise im only a size 2 so find it imposible to find anything vaguly smart so i decided to just keep with my old school shoes from yr 11. Is this ok or a big no no?

so in short: (as i do tend to ramble a bit)
2 blazers ,
1 pair of trousers (3 if you count my 2 pairs from yr11),
5 tops,
and 1 pair of shoes.

Is this enough as I feel I should have a little more so I dont feel stupid wearing the same stuff every week (also if for any reason the washing isn't done by monday)

Our sixth form supposedly allows you to wear clothes but when the 'guidelines' came out, they banned pretty much everything apart from shirts, trousers, suits and ties. So everyone just ignored the guidlines are wore whatever they wanted.

Haha! That's a good way of describing it. I have the feeling I could stroll in wearing torn jeans, a hoodie devouring my face and mashed up trainers and nobody would give a toss. Makes me feel unloved :frown:
