Quick question... I have to wear a suit at my sixth form which mostly consists of 'smart casual' clothes with a blazer on top. Would it be weird to wear a cardigan (visible) underneath the blazer?

Not at all. At my sixth form it's normally a jumper or cardigan on top of shirt, underneath blazor.

I don't have a uniform and can wear what we like but within reason like we can't wear low cut tops or anything like that or clothes with rude slogans on. Overall, most of us look quite smart.

Lol, it seems so weird to me that people have sixth form uniforms. We have nothing, I wear jeans every day

I am in my first year, I have maybe 7 blouses, 6 skirts, 2 pairs of trousers, 2 pairs of heels, 2 pairs of flats, 3 cardigans, 2 dresses and 1 blazer
That sounds a lot but I wear a lot of that stuff outside of school as well. I buy maybe 1 new piece a month and add to it. I've recently lost a lot of weight so I can't wear of it as it's too big.

Are you at a schools sixth form or a collage? I know of 2 sixth forms in our county which have to wear suits, one of which I'm in, but these are in the top 10 sixth forms in the country.

I can't believe some people on here have no school uniform, lucky yous!

OP:I have like a million shirts, 4 skirts, a dress, black skinny jeans, a pair of shoes, few cardigans and a prefect blazer.

School sixth form. And no, it's not a top performing sixth form. It's all very casual really, far more relaxed  Maybe that's why we are underperforming in terms of A level grades

1 Burton suit, 1 Burton coat and about 7 shirts, and some shoes  Don't really need another suit tbh the one I have now is class already

yeah I have to wear a suit too. boo! but it does look smart though

Hmmm, a couple of t-shirts and a pair of jeans.

I'd hate having to wear a suit for school!!!

ASDA do cheap suits and shirts, look there.

No suits, my sixth form is a little more lax with clothing :p:
Shirts have to be plain/lightly patterned with a collar, skirts need to be dark, trousers need to be tailored etc.
So far I've got 5 shirts, 2 skirts, 1 dress, 1 pair of trousers, 3 cardigans and 1 pair of shoes

Couldn't have guessed
I think we're all wondering why you felt the need to what appears to be brag about the clothing you own... not necessary at all, you could have just said "3 suits".

My 6th form is pretty vague with their dress code - no jeans and it just has to be 'smart'..I've just bought some casual dresses so I'll hope they'll be okay.

I haven't brought anything yet. I'm coping with what I have for a few weeks then going shopping

So yeah, not enough.

Somebody has a rich daddy. I just had a couple of Burton suits and about 5 shirts.

Seems very unlikely - the fact that he is stating each brand makes it seem very fake. If he really had all of that I doubt he'd not mention it, but the fact that he had to mention them all and the fact that they're all the generic `rich` brands makes it seem like a lie. If someone were actually that rich, they wouldn't buy brands like that, they'd have it all tailor made from a London brand, such as William Hunt (My personal favorite for socks )
