    Hey guys

I have been thinking about my future career and now think that I need to feel like I am working to help people in order to achieve job satisfaction.

So I am looking for ideas, so far all I can really think of is teaching as my degree is in social sciences.

Can anyone throw me a few suggestions?

    Thanks

You could get super successful and then do charity. For example, Akon has been helping develop electricity in africa, Bill gates set up the billgates foundation, if you were rich you could even make schools

There are all kinds of things you can do depending on if you want to work with people or in another sector. An obvious choice is charity work in an area of interest such as care and support work which is an ultimate example of caring and giving something back. It is very rewarding too, although usually not too well paid. It just depends on what area you want to specialise in. Child care and disability support can be run through charities too and can also be reached by persuiting a teaching career. You may also reach a management level within support work which can be more lucrative. Its all just ideas. My own sector is disability support so just send me a message if you have any questions.*

At the minute Im thinking toward public sector but most jobs seem to be office grunt work, even at middle management. I cant join the emergency services due to bad eyesight and I dont think teaching would suit my personality. Im very shy and introspective.

I'm kinda looking for a position to help people in any way as a future profession or hobby. The only thing that came up is being a wandering nomad, assisting those I come by as I travel to the next stop.
