Hello everyone, I am about to start my FY1 year and have spoken to the FY1s and FY2s. I have come across a theme, especially with the surgical lot- those who want to specialise in surgery, that they are interested in trading stocks and shares in their free time or they like business adventures. Is this possible to do while being an FY, studying for exams, finishing long shifts and trying to save?

Can you start your own business while doing or after graduate entry medicine?

There is no reason why it wouldn't be possible.

Of course, isn't that what everyone does in their free time regardless of career? Me and my friends been doing it since we got our first little jobs in supermarkets
