    Hi there!

So I've just decided that i want to attend Nottingham Trent but city accommodation is all booked up so ill have to go private, but wanted to know where others on the course or similar courses are going to be living. ive been recommended goldsmith court - but i don't know whether to pick it, as ive never been to Nottingham before and wont be able to until September.

I've also found these places is anyone staying in any one of these?:

    Hi Anita,

Unfortunately I don't know a lot about the halls above, so I can't really give my opinion. However, I do have a bit of advice for when looking to book private halls.

    1. Check you're not held in a contract if you don't meet the grades of your offer.
    2. Check that there's pastoral support available to offer you help if you need it.
    3. Check that you'll be placed with first year students
    4. Ensure when the first termly deposit is and make sure you have the funds to pay it at that time.

I hope this helps, and if you have any questions just let me know

    Thanks,

    Ellen

Hey Anita, Aman here. I'll be going to NTU for Fashion Communication & Promotion. I also tried booking uni accommodations but they are filled. I looked up a few private ones, found Bowman House a good option.

    Hi There,

I am a current FCP student (going into 3rd year) and there is a vacancy in our house at the moment which is two minutes away from the Waverley building which you will be studying in if you're interested?

Also if you're looking for halls I highly recommend Russell View. I stayed there the past two years!

I really do recommend Russell View if there is any vacancies left. A lot of societies hosted their pre-drinks in the common room this year just gone and from what I saw the first years really got on and had a good time there.

I absolutely love FCP. I'm not gonna lie it's a lot harder than it looks. The first years last year got to do a live project with Fred Perry which I'm gutted I didn't get to do. I've done workshops this year with Lord Whitney and a few other artists which was absolutely fantastic. We also worked on a live project with Boots creating a fashion film.

If you'd like a link to my website so you can see what kind of work you'll be producing give me a shout!
