So I contacted an associate working at a BB who graduated from my uni. I asked him a few questions about his job and told him I was interested. After answering them briefly, he immediately asks me to come down to the office for a chat.

What can I get out of this 'chat'? What do I ask him? How can I use it when I apply for summer internships next year?

Really? Just be a human being bro, you don't need to be thinking about how you can eek something out of others all the time.

Good god, networking is as much about building real relationships with people as it is about mutual benefit. Don't seek the latter before you have the former.

I think you misunderstood, I've never met him before. Just want to know how to approach this.
