The campus at Surrey is lovely but quite small. Guildford is an alright place to go out - wouldn't say it's comparable to Leeds though. As for the prestige and quality of the Universities...both are very highly regarded for engineering - Surrey prob a bit ahead of Leeds. It really depends what you're looking for in a university....Leeds is pretty huge whereas Surrey will have a more 'community' feel - I have friends at both and they are both having a great time. You can't really make a bad decision on this one....but I suppose that makes it a harder one!

After visiting leeds uni and having been to leeds a few time, the place and uni are great and from what iv heard much better then surrey, however leeds is ranked quite low in the times....

You should go to Surrey. You should compare the MSc course with surrey and leeds to see which one is suitable for you, that is the most important thing.
