How will Theresa May treat international students?

From what I've read Theresa May has cracked down on overseas students in recent years and now with her becoming PM + Brexit, what is the future looking like for foreign students?

This article seems to think that they bring enough money in for the government to accommodate them should the worst come to the worst but is Theresa an idealist on this issue or a pragmatist?
Ideally foreign student would be moved out of the immigration figures.

I think we wont know until we see of the 10s of thousands target stays or goes. If it stays then she will continue cracking down. If it goes with the proviso immigration will be controlled in the long run post brexit then there will not be a need to be harsh on international students.
Send em all back hopefully.

She won't do a thing about foreign students because they bring in a lot of money and the universities will tell her if they reduce foreign students, the government will either have to give the universities more money or increase student fees neither of which she can afford to do without a lot of political problems.

She will move students out of immigration stats because they should not be there in the first place.
Holding a degree shouldn't make them stay. 2:2 or below should go right upon finishing the course. The best ones stay and that's it.
