    Ceteris paribus, a doctor.

    You put nurse twice.

If she were an investment banker I would rarely see her.

If she were a teacher that would indicate that she doesn't hate children, and I'm not sure I could marry someone like that.

If she were a nurse that would indicate that she is empathetic and again, I'm not sure I could marry someone like that.

Any one of solicitor, doctor or pharmacist would be fine I suppose. It would be nice if she were witty, and all the solicitors or aspiring solicitors I know are witty, so let's go with that.

Why so many of these threads? They're fairly similar and you'll probably get hit for spamming.

    Many chemicals on offer then!

But in all seriousness I'm not keen on marrying a doctor/nurse. I would get creeped out tbh.
I'd say a female engineer would be ideal!

    Definitely not a solicitor.

I wouldn't mind too much what job she had so long as it involved very long hours.edit or she lived in a different house.

All the nurses I know are exceedingly fat . Also definitely not a solicitor.

I don't mind too much about her job as long as it helps her get a mortgage*.

*I believe living in different houses helps a relationship no end.

    • Docs on top!

    • Female city workers are near enough just as appalling than their male colleagues, or else quickly out of a job
    • Teachers are generally under achievers/lack ambition/stress heads (several in the family)
    • Nurses are generally either unattractive/uneducated/ethno-culturally incompatible/total sluts
    • Solicitors are part of what was the most hated profession, prior to the 2008 crisis, for a reason. Generally slippery characters, at best
    • Pharmacists are generally Asian materialists with pushy parents who didn't quite make the grade for biomed/medicine
